Woow, this was my reaction when Lucy and Javier contacted us. The biggest challenge was the time they had only 2 hours available and it certainly wasn't easy to shoot in such a short time. Plus it was evening! So we agreed with the couple on two symbolic places in Los Angeles where we could do the shooting.
Griffith Observatory located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood. The building commands views of Los Angeles Hollywood, Downtown and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. Second place was Urban Light located on Wilshire Boulevard, along the so-called Museum Row of the Miracle Mile, next to the Page Museum and La Brea Tar Pits.
It was also a real challenge for the hundreds of visitors who populated these iconic places in Los Angeles, as you can well imagine.
Los Angeles is a metropolis not only with modern and design buildings but also with many green areas. Plus you have the option of getting to Santa Monica Pears by subway at the most beautiful beaches in California.
With Lucy and Javier we were able to dare with silhouette shots as well as classic romantic shots that only the Californian light can give.
Here are some shots...
